What you'll do

• Conduct orthopedic histories, physical exams, and musculoskeletal assessments
• interpret imaging and laboratory tests
• develop treatment plans with supervising orthopedic surgeons
• perform in-office procedures within scope of practice, such as joint injections, casting, splinting, wound care, and suture removal
• assist surgeons in the operating room, including first-assist duties
• coordinate postoperative and follow-up care
• educate patients
• document encounters
• collaborate with the care team
• participate in quality improvement and continuing education.

Why this role
