The role supports the Youth Mental Health program within Youth Services at the Los Angeles LGBT Center, whose mission is to help LGBT people thrive as healthy, equal, and complete members of society. This position provides counseling and clinical supervision to support youth experiencing or at risk of homelessness in achieving housing stability and permanency. It also coordinates program activities, supports staff development, and contributes to quality improvement and clinical case review.

What you'll do

• Conduct individual and group counseling
• document client progress
• respond to walk-ins and crises
• complete intakes and referrals and follow up for continuity of care. Coordinate program work, participate in planning and quality improvement, and provide weekly individual and group supervision to clinicians and interns.
