The Senior Surgical Technologist (Operating Room) – Per Diem, 8-Hour Varied role is onsite in Orange, CA, with compensation of $33.76–$39.57 per hour. The position reports to the Manager/Director of Perioperative Services and is supervised by the Technical Coordinator. The role prepares operating rooms and provides technical support for surgical care across pediatric through geriatric patients. It helps the perioperative team maintain safe, aseptic procedures and ensure cases have the required equipment and supplies.

What you'll do

• Prepare operating rooms for surgery and pull cases with required equipment
• assist with technical duties during surgery
• maintain aseptic technique and infection-control practices
• help maintain counts of instruments, sutures, and sponges
• support pre-operative patients
• identify and care for specimens
• report equipment malfunctions
• assist with clearing operating room suites
• follow departmental policies and safety standards.
