Housekeeping Supervisor

The Housekeeping Supervisor role is onsite in Chicago, IL. Compensation is $27 per hour. The role supports Hotel Felix’s guest-room and public-area housekeeping operations at its boutique hotel. The supervisor coordinates daily housekeeping work, inspects rooms and public areas, and manages staff assignments, training, and supplies. By coordinating room readiness with the front desk and responding to guest requests, the role helps maintain cleanliness, safety, and guest service standards.

What you'll do

• Inspect guest rooms, hallways, lobbies, and public areas for cleanliness and safety
• update room statuses in the property management system
• coordinate repairs with maintenance
• conduct morning briefings and assign sections
• distribute keys and manage schedules or replacements
• train and coach staff on cleaning techniques, chemical use, and brand standards
• monitor and order linens, amenities, and cleaning supplies
• manage lost-and-found items and logs
• respond to guest complaints and special requests.
