The Assistant Cook role is onsite in Lewiston, ID, with compensation of $16.21 per hour. The position supports the Lewis Clark Early Childhood Program kitchen, preparing nutritious meals for students. The Assistant Cook helps the kitchen team provide meals by preparing and serving food as assigned, maintaining a safe and orderly workspace, and supporting inventory and reporting. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., and Friday, 7:00 a.m.–11:00 a.m.; hours are 35 per week September through June and 25 per week in summer.

What you'll do

• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment
• work with the Kitchen Supervisor and Cook to ensure accurate inventory
• complete reporting neatly and accurately
• prepare and serve food as assigned.
