Insurance Sales Representative – Outbound Sales

Job overview

The Insurance Sales Representative – Outbound Sales role is onsite in Suffolk, VA, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Compensation is $50,000–$75,000 per year. The role supports new business growth for a State Farm insurance agency. The representative actively develops prospects into new auto, home, renters, and other property and casualty insurance customers. The work centers on outbound calls and texts, quoting, consistent follow-up, addressing objections, and closing sales; a Property & Casualty insurance license is required.

What you'll do

• Make outbound sales calls and send follow-up texts
• work agency-provided leads and prospect lists
• identify insurance opportunities and prepare and present quotes
• follow up on open quotes
• uncover customer needs, handle objections, close new business, and cross-sell when appropriate
• maintain sales pipeline records and meet activity, quote, and production goals.
