The Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Technician role is onsite in Brookline, MA, with a salary range of $36.31–$40.08 per hour. The Town of Brookline’s Public Buildings Building Maintenance Division maintains town facilities for employees and the public. The technician maintains, repairs, and installs HVAC systems and controls across town facilities. Preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and accurate repair records help keep public buildings comfortable, energy-efficient, and well maintained.

What you'll do

• Service, install, and maintain HVAC systems and automatic temperature controls
• test and troubleshoot chillers, air-handling units, ductless and split systems, packaged air-conditioning units, boilers, and ventilation systems
• use laptop-based diagnostic tools and software to monitor and adjust performance
• perform preventive maintenance, document repairs, and manage parts replacements.
