The Direct-to-Film Printer & Heat Press Operator works onsite in Detroit Lakes, MN. The posting offers either Monday–Thursday, 4 p.m.–2 a.m. nights or Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–4 p.m. days. Pay is $16–$18 per hour. The operator supports Lakeshirts’ production of custom-designed apparel and accessories. The operator runs direct-to-film printing and heat press equipment, checks product quality, and coordinates work with adjacent departments. Accurate setup and production help deliver high-quality garment and hat designs on schedule.

What you'll do

• Operate DTFx printers and heat press machines, including spot sublimation
• set temperature, pressure, and timing
• prepare inks and machine settings using a computer
• send approved art to the printer and oversee production
• perform quality checks on garments
• conduct light printer maintenance
• use Excel and Adobe Illustrator to manage art files and setups
• move jobs through the Zion workflow program
• troubleshoot machine and workflow issues
• follow safety practices and collaborate with the team.
