What you'll do

• Support medication selection, procurement, storage, order entry, preparation, labeling, dispensing, and quality improvement
• verify patient identity
• interpret medication orders
• compound and dispense pharmaceuticals, including sterile products
• monitor drug therapy
• participate in dosing services
• review culture and sensitivity data
• document clinical interventions
• report adverse drug events and medication errors
• provide drug information and therapeutic recommendations.
