Sterile Processing Technician

Job overview

The Sterile Processing Technician role is onsite in Marrero, LA, with pay of $19.00 per hour for uncertified candidates and $20.44 per hour for CRCST-certified candidates. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with no weekends, holidays, or call. Connected Surgical provides surgical support services to hospitals, surgery centers, and physician offices to help reduce costs and improve patient care. The technician decontaminates, assembles, sterilizes, and distributes surgical instruments to support safe procedures and the Surgical Support team. Candidates who are not certified can receive company-sponsored certification support and must obtain certification within six months of starting.

What you'll do

• Decontaminate, clean, assemble, and package surgical instruments
• sterilize instruments and prepare them for procedures
• follow infection-control and aseptic techniques
• communicate with team members to support surgical cases.
