Claims Representative

Job overview

The Claims Representative role is onsite in Buffalo, NY, with compensation of $23–$25 per hour. CRST’s Home Solutions–Installs division provides delivery and installation services for retail and client partners. The role supports claims and risk management by receiving accident reports, documenting and investigating incidents, coordinating with insurers and third-party administrators, and following claims through required next steps.

What you'll do

• Take initial accident reports and enter details into the computer system
• obtain and file police reports, photos, and other records
• follow up on missing documentation
• investigate root causes and assess liability exposure
• arrange field adjusters for serious claims
• notify internal clients
• audit incident reports
• coordinate with insurers and third-party administrators
• begin claims adjudication as directed
• preserve records in anticipation of litigation.
