Vice President of Clinical Research Development

Job overview

The Vice President of Clinical Research Development role is hybrid, with an expected commute to the Burlington, MA office at least once a week; pay is $140,000–$200,000 per year. The role will work with Vascular Breakthroughs’ executive, physician, and clinical trials leadership to expand its vascular device research platform. The executive will develop the strategy, infrastructure, partnerships, and operating model to grow the existing clinical trials program into a broader site management organization and contract research organization. The role also expands trial sites and specialties, develops the commercial model, and builds the research and operations teams.

What you'll do

• Design and execute strategy to scale the OBL-based research program into an SMO/CRO
• define organizational structure, processes, and governance
• build partnerships with hospitals, physician groups, device manufacturers, and early-stage companies
• lead site identification, activation, contracting, budgeting, and planning
• develop centralized operations
• onboard sites and investigators
• build sponsor and CRO relationships, pricing, and growth strategy
• represent research capabilities at industry events
• recruit and develop teams.
