Maintenance Technician

Job overview

The Maintenance Technician role is onsite in Kermit, Texas, at a sand mine and processing plant; compensation is $25–$32 per hour. Wallstreet Sand Co. produces wet and dry frac sand for the Permian Basin oil and gas industry. The technician supports millwright mechanics to help keep heavy machinery and structural components operating safely and continuously. The work combines repair assistance, routine maintenance, inspections, and industrial housekeeping to reduce downtime and maintain a safe facility.

What you'll do

• Assist millwright mechanics with repairs to haul trucks, dozers, and conveyors and transport tools and parts
• sweep shop floors, clean spills, wash mobile equipment, and maintain clean work areas
• perform routine greasing, change cutting edges, paint bollards, and conduct pre-shift inspections
• complete safety orientations, follow MSHA regulations, and report hazards or defective materials.

Why this role
