Direct Support Professional – Children and Adolescents

The Direct Support Professional – Children and Adolescents role is onsite in Orlando, FL, with second- and third-shift openings; the schedule includes 2:45–11:00 p.m. or 10:45 p.m.–7:00 a.m. Starting pay is $17.00–$20.25 per hour. Devereux provides behavioral healthcare and support services to children, adults, and families.

What you'll do

• Assist children and adolescents with bathing, dressing, meals, and other daily living activities
• implement behavior support plans
• teach life, social, and communication skills
• respond to and de-escalate crises
• maintain daily documentation
• transport clients to school, appointments, and community outings
• and work with the clinical treatment team.
