The Foreman, Concrete & Flatwork works onsite in North Richland Hills, TX; The role supports Ragle Inc.’s heavy civil construction projects by supervising concrete and flatwork crews. The foreman plans and coordinates daily work across concrete construction phases, ensuring crews and subcontractors follow project plans, specifications, schedules, safety requirements, and quality standards. The position also coordinates resources and resolves field issues that affect production or project delivery.

What you'll do

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise concrete and flatwork activities
• direct laborers, carpenters, finishers, operators, and subcontractors
• interpret plans, specifications, shop drawings, and layout information
• coordinate sidewalks, curbs, driveways, ADA ramps, slabs, pavement repairs, and other concrete work
• verify layout, grades, elevations, dimensions, and slopes
• supervise formwork and reinforcing steel
• coordinate concrete deliveries and placement
• monitor concrete quality and finishing
• schedule labor, equipment, and materials
• conduct safety meetings
• maintain daily reports
• perform quality inspections
• assist with punch lists and project closeout
• train and mentor crew members.

Why this role

Requires at least 5 years of concrete or heavy civil construction experience as a foreman and a valid driver’s license. Overtime, weekends, nights, and travel may be required as project schedules require; OSHA 10-hour construction and CPR/First Aid certifications are preferred.
