What you'll do

• Prepare and assist residents with medications according to physician orders, medication training, and company procedures
• reorder medications
• keep the medication room and cart clean and orderly
• ensure residents do not run out of medications
• follow emergency protocols
• file paperwork in resident charts
• keep medication areas and records locked when not in use
• transfer orders to the medication administration record as directed by a licensed nurse
• order medical supplies as directed
• assist care associates as needed
• and contribute information to customized service plans.
