The Direct Support Professional (DSP) role is onsite in Stockton, CA, with pay of $18.50–$19.50 per hour. De Trio Health Care provides residential programs for adults with developmental disabilities and supports residents’ independence and well-being. The DSP assists and supervises residents in daily living, supports behavioral management, and carries out individual programs under the direction of program and licensed staff. The role also facilitates activities and groups while helping maintain a safe, supportive residential environment.

What you'll do

• Assist and supervise residents in activities of daily living
• support behavioral management and de-escalation
• follow and document individual programs as directed
• provide active programming and facilitate groups
• promote a safe environment
• follow supervisor-established standards, procedures, and schedules
• report suspected abuse as a mandated reporter
• respond to crises according to policy and training.
