What you'll do

• Welcome patients and visitors in person and by phone
• answer or refer inquiries
• schedule and confirm appointments and follow up on no-shows
• make appointment reminder calls
• notify providers of patient arrivals
• maintain the reception area
• update patient and financial information
• assist with forms
• check in patients and collect copays and balances
• respond to emergencies
• protect confidential information
• reconcile charges
• perform clerical tasks and manage office-supply inventory.
