Geotechnical Driller Helper

Job overview

The Geotechnical Driller Helper role is onsite in Dallas, TX, with pay of $21–$30 per hour. This entry-level role assists the drilling crew with soil sampling and subsurface exploration. The helper supports daily drilling operations, equipment handling and upkeep, sample collection, jobsite safety, and travel to sites in Texas and parts of Louisiana.

What you'll do

• Assist the driller with daily operations
• load and unload equipment
• support soil and rock sample collection and labeling
• clean and maintain equipment and jobsite areas
• perform general labor
• travel to local and out-of-town sites
• follow safety procedures.
