Security Operations Center Analyst II

The Security Operations Center Analyst II role is onsite five days a week in Arlington, VA. Salary is $115,000–$145,000 per year. Definitive Innovative Solutions seeks the analyst to support mission-critical cybersecurity operations. The analyst monitors enterprise networks, analyzes security events, and helps detect and respond to incidents to maintain system security and availability. Coordination with stakeholders and use of SIEM and analytics tools support timely incident handling and recovery.

What you'll do

• Monitor identified devices and applications through program network dashboards. Manage events and incidents under established procedures, analyze network events, report outages, and monitor security events using SIEM tools. Detect, analyze, and respond to incidents, coordinating containment, eradication, and recovery. Use analytics tools for log collection, analysis, and alerting
• conduct backup and recovery as needed
• provide mobile phone support, including SIM activation and deactivation.
