Job overview

The Blade Grinder role is onsite in Fort Collins, CO; the stated pay range is $19–$22 per hour. Super Vacuum Manufacturing makes fire equipment and emergency vehicles intended to help communities save lives. The grinder finishes and inspects workpieces used in the Fans Division, helping ensure parts meet dimensional and surface requirements. The role also monitors machine operation and separates defective pieces to support production quality.

What you'll do

• File or finish workpiece surfaces using hand tools
• fit parts together in preassembly and check dimensions
• inspect and measure workpieces
• monitor machine operation and stop machines when problems occur
• replace worn or broken machine parts
• remove finished workpieces and set aside defective pieces.
