Registered Nurse (RN), Progressive Care Float Pool

The Registered Nurse (RN), Progressive Care Float Pool role is onsite in Overland Park, KS. Compensation is not specified. The nurse provides care across telemetry, neuro step-down, and progressive care settings, responding to patient needs within the nurse’s skill set. The role supports facility staffing through regular floating and care for patients with a range of cardiac, respiratory, neurologic, and other conditions.

What you'll do

• Provide nursing care in medical-surgical, telemetry, neuro step-down, and progressive care settings
• interpret and manage dysrhythmias and respond to emergencies
• provide IV therapy, phlebotomy, blood products, line care, medication administration, respiratory support, and wound care
• float between departments, units, and facilities as needed
• work eight weekend shifts in the facility’s six-week schedule period
• take holiday shifts and charge RN assignments as needed.
