The Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Bus Driver / STEAM Instructor Assistant role is onsite in Westbury, NY, with work at schools, libraries, homes, and other locations throughout Nassau County. The role drives the mobile STEAM Lab and supports instructors in classroom activities, helping students engage with learning materials while maintaining a safe, organized program environment. It also involves communicating with families, organizing materials, and supporting student behavior and enrollment inquiries.

What you'll do

• Drive the 2002 Bluebird 40-foot Mobile STEAM Lab to locations throughout Nassau County and clean it after shifts.
• Greet parents and children, monitor children using learning materials and equipment, assist with student behavior and discipline, organize program materials, respond to parent inquiries, encourage enrollment in future programs, and attend required training and staff meetings.
