Class A Driver — Local Waste Routes

The Class A Driver — Local Waste Routes role is onsite in Phoenix, AZ, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM; overtime and Saturdays may be needed. Pay is $30 per hour. The driver joins Clean Harbors’ Phoenix team, transporting waste to company facilities. The driver completes local pickups and deliveries, safely handling hazardous and non-hazardous waste and maintaining compliance with transportation and safety requirements. Accurate records, vehicle inspections, and communication with coordinators support reliable route operations.

What you'll do

• Follow assigned pickup and delivery routes
• safely load and unload hazardous and non-hazardous waste
• secure and segregate drums and containers
• follow vehicle weight requirements and placarding rules
• maintain daily logs and vehicle inspection records
• communicate with coordinators about schedules and delays
• inspect, maintain, and clean assigned vehicles
• keep required DOT, OSHA, RCRA, and company training records.

Why this role

Valid Class A CDL with no automatic restriction, hazmat endorsement, and at least one year of Class A driving experience are required. Training begins on day shift for the first few weeks.
