The surgeon provides comprehensive care for acute and reconstructive burn injuries, contributing to treatment, recovery, and rehabilitation. Collaboration with trauma, plastics, and critical care colleagues supports coordinated care for complex burn patients.

What you'll do

• Provide inpatient and outpatient care for acute and reconstructive burn injuries
• participate in surgical management of burns, wound care, resuscitation, and long-term recovery
• collaborate with trauma, plastics, and critical care colleagues
• participate in burn and trauma call coverage and clinic duties.

Why this role

Board certification or eligibility in General Surgery and eligibility for Missouri medical licensure are required. Fellowship training in Burn Surgery and/or Surgical Critical Care is preferred. The role includes burn and trauma call coverage.
