The Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologist role is onsite in Greenville, NC; compensation is not specified. The physician joins an established advanced heart failure and mechanical circulatory support program with a multidisciplinary care team. The cardiologist provides care for complex heart failure patients and contributes to the program’s clinical services, including its LVAD, cardiogenic shock, CardioMEMS, and pulmonary hypertension programs. The role may also include teaching or research opportunities and invasive procedures as required by the role.

What you'll do

• Provide clinical care for complex heart failure patients
• collaborate with advanced heart failure cardiologists, a heart failure surgeon, pharmacist, social worker, and advanced practice providers
• participate in heart catheterization and CardioMEMS implantation as applicable
• contribute to the established heart failure programs and clinical trials or registries. Teaching or research activities may be available
• mechanical circulatory support experience and invasive procedures are preferred or conditional as stated.
