What you'll do

• Evaluate and monitor drug therapy in collaboration with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
• coordinate new referrals and admissions
• review, receive, and verify patient orders
• assess patient, drug, and disease information and monitor therapy outcomes
• consult with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
• document clinical activities
• check medications, supplies, and equipment before dispensing
• compound sterile mixtures using aseptic technique where state laws permit
• maintain clean-room compliance with USP 797 and USP 800
• oversee pharmacy technician functions as required by Pharmacy Board rules.

Why this role
