Collision Auto Body Technician

Job overview

The Collision Auto Body Technician role is an onsite position based in Dallas, GA. Compensation is $23 - $33 per hour, and the role supports the collision and glass services department at Gerber Collision & Glass. The role exists to provide an exceptional customer experience through the meticulous assessment and quality repair of vehicles to restore them to pre-accident condition. The technician disassembles, repairs, and reassembles vehicles while working in alignment with team members to achieve facility KPIs.

What you'll do

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW plan
• plan repair work and prepare cost estimates
• use tools such as cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers, and pliers
• hammer out dents and apply filler resins
• realign chassis and frames
• remove and replace damaged sections
• replace or repair glass, windshields, and interior parts
• weld and attach parts
• prepare and repaint vehicles
• inspect vehicles after repair.
