What you'll do

• Evaluate residents and patients referred by physicians
• develop treatment programs with functional goals
• provide physician-ordered therapy
• review responses and recommend whether treatment should continue or stop
• contact physicians as needed
• document and report reactions or changes
• teach residents, families, and caregivers about therapy procedures
• participate in staff development and in-service education
• supervise CFYs according to ASHA guidelines
• and complete timely clinical documentation.
