Pipe Stress Engineer

What you'll do

• Perform piping flexibility analyses against code-allowable stress limits
• develop piping stress models
• locate and design pipe supports and restraints
• coordinate detailed support designs with the design group and multidisciplinary project teams
• validate expansions, stresses, loads, and support designs using calculations and tools
• perform dynamic analyses
• prepare procurement specifications and requisitions and review quotes
• coordinate piping interfaces with customers
• document assumptions, methods, and results
• mentor staff and participate in project and client meetings as needed.
