The Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic role is onsite in Chandler, AZ, with pay of $33–$48 per hour. The mechanic supports a flight training academy’s general aviation fleet, helping keep high-utilization training aircraft safe and dependable. The mechanic performs inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on single-engine piston aircraft. Accurate maintenance records and regulatory compliance support safe return to service and reliable fleet operations.

What you'll do

• Perform scheduled 100-hour and annual inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs in accordance with 14 CFR Parts 43 and 91
• troubleshoot piston airframes and engines
• complete aircraft logbook sign-offs and digital maintenance records
• interpret maintenance manuals, wiring diagrams, Airworthiness Directives, and Service Bulletins
• maintain safety and shop cleanliness. Requires an active FAA A&P license and at least two years of post-licensure general aviation maintenance experience.
