Auto Body Detailer / Sand and Buff Technician

The Auto Body Detailer / Sand and Buff Technician role is onsite in Lynn, MA. Pay is $18–$25 per hour. The position supports Olympic Auto Body and Sales’ collision repair work, preparing refinished vehicles for customer delivery. The technician sands, compounds, and polishes freshly painted vehicles and parts, checks finished paintwork, and completes interior and exterior detailing. Careful work protects new finishes while helping deliver clean, finished vehicles.

What you'll do

• Sand and buff freshly painted vehicles and parts
• remove minor dirt nibs, dust, texture, and other paint imperfections
• compound and polish repaired or refinished areas
• inspect paintwork and vehicles before delivery
• wash exteriors and clean interiors, windows, wheels, and door jambs
• maintain vehicle-condition records
• move vehicles as needed
• keep the detailing area organized.
