Teacher Assistant

Job overview

The Teacher Assistant role is onsite in Southbridge, MA, with compensation of $18–$21 per hour. The position supports Worcester Community Action Council’s Early Head Start and Head Start programs, which provide early education and care to families in Southern Worcester County. Working with the Lead Teacher, the Teacher Assistant helps plan and carry out classroom activities that foster children’s growth, self-esteem, social competence, and development. The role contributes to consistent, developmentally appropriate programming across the centers.
