Senior Cyber Risk Analyst

The Senior Cyber Risk Analyst role is hybrid, with onsite work three days per week, for candidates local to Columbus, OH, or Merrillville, IN. Pay is $46–$52 per hour. Blue Star Partners is recruiting for a contract-to-hire assignment supporting a third-party risk management and cyber assessments program in a large utility environment. The analyst evaluates and tracks cybersecurity risks associated with vendors and suppliers, supports control assessments and risk reporting, and maintains risk information in governance, risk, and compliance platforms. The role helps stakeholders make informed decisions across the vendor lifecycle, from onboarding and contract renewal through monitoring and remediation.

What you'll do

• Support the enterprise third-party risk management program
• assess supplier and vendor cybersecurity risks and controls
• maintain risk profiles and track findings, exceptions, and remediation
• review SOC 2 reports and supporting documentation
• support cyber assessments and control assessments
• maintain assessment information and workflows in Archer GRC
• support Fortress assessments
• produce reports, dashboards, and metrics
• coordinate with business owners, vendor managers, Supply Chain, Cybersecurity, IT, Operational Technology, Compliance, and Audit teams.
