The Water Utility Electrical Engineer role is onsite in San Jose, CA, paying $115,000–$160,000 per year. This is an approximately six-month, full-time temporary engagement supporting electrical and controls engineering for water facilities at a California water utility.

What you'll do

• Prepare electrical construction drawings and specifications
• perform power-distribution and motor-control calculations and studies
• interpret construction reports and drawings
• manage project scope, schedule, budget, contracts, bids, and procurement
• coordinate contractors, consultants, agencies, and staff
• provide construction management and field inspection
• and prepare project estimates, reports, and materials supporting rate cases and capital budgets.
