Floor Technician

Job overview

The Floor Technician works onsite in Liberty, MO. Pay is $16 per hour. The role supports the environmental services team at a skilled nursing facility, helping maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, families, and staff. The technician performs cleaning, floor care, and light facility-support tasks that help keep the facility sanitary, orderly, and ready for resident care. Maintaining equipment and supplies and supporting room readiness contribute to daily facility operations.

What you'll do

• Perform and oversee daily cleaning
• clean and disinfect resident rooms, restrooms, offices, lounges, therapy areas, entrances, and common spaces
• sweep, mop, wax, and buff floors and clean carpets
• set up safety signage and follow infection-prevention protocols
• keep equipment and supplies clean and organized
• complete light maintenance and minor repairs
• maintain exterior areas
• support room readiness for admissions and discharges
• monitor supplies and inventory.
