Dental Assistant

What you'll do

• Assist the dentist during treatment
• take and develop dental radiographs
• ask about medical history and take blood pressure and pulse
• develop infection-control protocol and sterilize instruments and equipment
• help patients feel comfortable
• provide post-treatment oral-care instructions and hygiene education
• take dental impressions
• perform office management tasks
• communicate with patients and suppliers
• support direct patient care across dental specialties.
