Field Service Technician, Agricultural and Construction Equipment

What you'll do

• Read job orders and observe equipment to diagnose malfunctions and plan repairs
• install or replace fuel-injection components, batteries, transmissions, hydraulic systems, and other parts
• inspect guards, bolts, and safety devices
• fabricate attachments or devices from blueprints or schematics
• repair tires, undercarriages, and agricultural attachments
• document work on work orders
• maintain tools, work areas, and assigned service vehicle
• follow safe work procedures and vehicle laws
• read schematics
• test equipment against operating requirements
• and help ensure new and used equipment is in working condition.
