What you'll do

• Coordinate development and maintenance of diet manuals, menus, equipment specifications, and dietary quality indicators
• coordinate dietary services with other care services
• serve as facility dietitian where assigned
• review consultant reports, quality assurance, and survey results
• recommend interventions and follow-up
• support hiring of facility dietitians and dietary managers
• monitor regional nutrition systems
• train dietary staff
• participate in presurvey visits and long-term-care surveys
• maintain regulatory and food-safety knowledge.
