The Priest Chaplain, Catholic Senior Living role is onsite in Olathe, KS, averaging approximately 20 hours per week. Compensation is a stipend from a monthly chaplaincy budget of $2,500, shared between the chaplain and associate chaplain according to their division of responsibilities; housing is provided as needed. The chaplain serves Santa Marta’s senior living community across independent living, assisted living, memory support, and skilled nursing. The role provides sacramental ministry, pastoral care, and spiritual leadership to residents. Through Mass, reconciliation, anointing, pastoral visits, and coordination with campus leadership and ministry volunteers, the chaplain supports the spiritual life of the community and continuity of worship services.

What you'll do

• Celebrate scheduled Masses in the Independent Living Chapel and weekly Mass in Healthcare
• ensure continuity of liturgical services when unavailable
• hear or coordinate weekly Reconciliation
• provide individual and monthly Healthcare Anointing of the Sick and respond to sacramental needs
• coordinate weekly Eucharistic Adoration
• provide pastoral visits and spiritual support
• collaborate with campus leadership and ministry volunteers.
