The assistant manager partners with the Store Manager on daily operations and assumes responsibility when that manager is absent. The role supports customer and donor service, employee development, merchandising, cash controls, and store safety to help the store operate effectively in support of the program.

What you'll do

• Partner with the Store Manager in daily store operations and assume operational responsibility in their absence
• coach and train employees
• maintain customer and donor relations and resolve complaints
• supervise staff and support meetings
• handle time-and-attendance paperwork
• maintain merchandising standards, inventory, product rotation, and donation-site operations
• safeguard cash and complete banking
• support safety, property protection, and loss prevention.
