The Aircraft Mechanic II — F-15 Structures role is onsite at either Mountain Home Air Force Base, ID, or Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, NC, and requires travel within the United States and overseas. Compensation is not specified. The position supports Tyonek Native Corporation’s F-15 aircraft maintenance and modification operations; hiring is pending contract award. The mechanic performs structural maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and modifications to help maintain aircraft mission readiness and meet maintenance and delivery schedules. The role also supports quality, safety, documentation, and technical guidance for other mechanics as authorized.

What you'll do

• Inspect, maintain, repair, and modify F-15 structures and components using approved technical data
• troubleshoot discrepancies
• support scheduled and unscheduled maintenance
• interpret technical publications and drawings
• support engineering changes and modification work orders
• inspect work and provide technical guidance when authorized
• lead complex tasks as assigned
• maintain logs and records, tool accountability, and safety and FOD-prevention requirements.

Why this role

F-15 structures experience is strongly preferred. Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance and be a U.S. citizen. Normal schedule is Monday–Friday, 0700–1530, with approved overtime or adjusted schedules as mission needs change.
