The Registered Nurse (RN) role is onsite in Middletown, OH, with compensation not specified. The nurse supports the Pre-Op, Circulating, and PACU department at Cincinnati Eye Institute. The PRN position requires three to four weeks of Monday–Thursday training before transitioning to PRN; shifts start at 6:00 or 6:30 a.m. and last 10 hours, with no weekends, evenings, or call. The RN assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and documents patient care in accordance with applicable standards and facility policies. The role contributes to safe, coordinated care by directing or assisting patient care in an operating room, maintaining accurate records, communicating with the care team, and supporting a clean and orderly environment.

What you'll do

• Assess, prioritize, plan, implement, evaluate, and document patient care
• supervise or direct care in an individual operating room
• follow accepted practices, HIPAA, patient rights, physician orders, and facility policies
• coordinate communication and continuity of care
• maintain accurate medical records
• report unusual occurrences
• participate in training, staff meetings, and quality programs
• assist with training new staff when needed.
