Job overview

The Cook III role is onsite in Northbrook, IL, with hours of 6 a.m.–2:30 p.m. Compensation is $22 per hour. The cook supports Food for Thought catering events and reports to Kitchen and Chef Managers. The role prepares menu items to established recipes and portions, monitors product storage and quality, assists at event stations, and maintains kitchen cleanliness and health standards. It contributes to consistent catering execution by following the Chef’s policies and procedures.

What you'll do

• Prepare menu items according to recipes, portions, and procedures
• monitor product storage and portion control
• inspect food quality
• assist at event stations
• clean kitchen areas and equipment using approved products
• and perform related duties such as cross-training and moving supplies.
