The role coordinates security documentation, continuous monitoring, vulnerability response, and change control to help the program maintain authorization and reduce cybersecurity risk.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain authorization documentation, including security and contingency plans
• identify applicable STIGs and SRGs
• coordinate with the government System Owner and ISSM
• advise on RMF, NIST, and DISA requirements
• provide security design guidance
• monitor controls, access, audit logs, and vulnerabilities
• coordinate remediation
• facilitate and vote in CCB processes
• prepare Security Impact Assessments
• review user accounts and requests
• analyze ACAS, Nessus, and SCAP results
• serve as primary point of contact for the Security Control Assessor
• maintain POA&M items in eMASS.
