Electrical Discharge Machinist (EDM) – Day Shift is an onsite role in Plymouth, MN, paying $35–$42 per hour depending on experience. The machinist works in a precision job shop serving aerospace, defense, medical, and microelectronics customers. The role produces short-run, tight-tolerance parts by setting up and operating wire EDM equipment and running sinker EDM as needed. It owns workholding, setup, in-process and final inspection, and equipment upkeep to meet customer specifications in a certified shop.

What you'll do

• Set up and operate wire EDM machines to print
• run sinker EDM as needed
• plan workholding and setups
• adjust offsets and cutting conditions
• inspect parts using precision measuring tools
• read blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders
• maintain EDM equipment and an orderly work area.
