Home Care Aide

Job overview

The Home Care Aide role is onsite in Gaithersburg, MD, providing care in clients’ homes. Pay is $17 per hour. A Place At Home Towson, operated by Springboard Care Services, provides in-home senior care intended to help clients live comfortably and independently at home. The aide provides personal care, mobility and meal assistance, household support, companionship, and help with errands. Monitoring and reporting changes in client health or behavior helps supervisors coordinate responsive care.

What you'll do

• Provide bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene assistance
• support mobility, transfers, and ambulation
• prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
• perform light housekeeping
• provide companionship and emotional support
• monitor and report changes in health or behavior
• provide medication reminders
• transport or accompany clients to appointments and errands as needed.

Why this role
