The Mid-Level Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) Security Specialist role is onsite in Arlington, VA. Compensation is not specified. The specialist advises government leadership and supports security program planning, coordination, execution, and oversight. The role helps ensure program activities meet applicable policies, directives, and mission requirements through analysis, documentation, stakeholder coordination, and compliance support.

What you'll do

• Provide SETA support to government security offices, program managers, and mission stakeholders
• assist with planning, coordination, and execution of security initiatives
• support security policies, procedures, and operational guidance
• review activities for compliance
• prepare reports, briefings, staffing packages, correspondence, and documentation
• coordinate with government personnel, contractors, and mission partners
• track actions, milestones, deliverables, and requirements
• support reviews, meetings, inspections, and assessments
• analyze processes and recommend improvements
• assist with risk management and corrective action plans.

Why this role

Requires 3+ years of relevant government security, program management, compliance, or related experience; active IAT/IAM Level II certification; and a minimum Top Secret clearance with SAP/SAR eligibility. Bachelor’s degree or higher, associate degree plus four years of additional relevant experience, or six years of additional relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
