Water Restoration Technician

Job overview

The Water Restoration Technician role is an onsite, full-time position in Thomasville, NC. Compensation is $18–$21 per hour. The technician supports water restoration work for residential and commercial customers. The technician monitors drying and restoration jobs, performs water extraction and related cleanup or demolition tasks, and documents work for company processes and insurance reimbursement. The role also explains job steps to customers and communicates progress and issues to supervisors and company staff.

What you'll do

• Retrieve work orders and prepare equipment and supplies
• explain restoration processes and next steps to customers
• perform water extraction, pack-out, disposal of unsalvageable materials, and light construction or demolition as directed
• monitor drying plans using meter readings
• inspect completed jobs and obtain customer signatures
• document work with notes and photos
• communicate customer issues and job activity.
