The Human Resources Onboarding Partner is an onsite, full-time role in Syracuse, NY, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Compensation is $55,000–$70,000 per year. The role represents the company throughout recruiting and onboarding, helping candidates and new employees move through hiring, orientation, and initial employment processes. Accurate HRIS records, clear communication, and coordination with hiring managers and departments support the Human Resources team’s service to employees.

What you'll do

• Review applications, screen candidates, coordinate interviews, arrange travel and agendas, collect paperwork, and communicate with applicants.
• Initiate background checks and medical testing, enter HRIS data, prepare first-day and first-week agendas, answer new-hire questions, coordinate with hiring managers, and follow up after start.
• Conduct weekly or bi-weekly orientations, maintain onboarding and candidate information, support FLSA compliance, diversity recruiting, employee concerns, offer letters, and exit interviews.

Why this role

Requires an associate degree in a related field, HRIS and applicant tracking experience, and 3+ years of HR experience plus 3–5 years of recruiting experience; bachelor’s degree and SHRM-CP or PHR preferred.
